    Järvevana 7B Office Building

Järvevana rd 7B is an office building in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn, with a net floor area of 62,430 square feet (5,800 square meters).

It is probably the most energy efficient office building in Scandinavia today.

    • Energy-efficient ground heating cools in summer and heats in winter
    • Solar panels on the roof as a source of energy consumption
    • 75% of building’s used water comes from rainfall (depends on the season)
    • 17% of less peak from the grid
    • Cooling station investment reduced 40% compared to a standard solution
    • Power consumption 40…50% less than with planned equipment
    • Lower costs on power amperage fee to an electricity provider
    • Lower maintenance and installation costs on heating and cooling station
    • 70% lower water bills. Collected rainwater is for toilet flushing systems

We used thermally activated building systems (TABS), the ground as a heat source and solar panels as a source of energy consumption. It also produces 75% of its water from the rainfall from the sky.

By efficient indoor climate planning, calculating and designing inertial indoor climate systems, peak load from the grid was decreased from 320 amperes to 264 amperes (ca 17% less peak from the grid).
